What are “Locally Optimized Global Human Resources”

A global society does not mean a homogenized society where local and regional diversities are unmaintained; rather, a society where all people from diverse backgrounds and cultures, who may speak various languages, acknowledge and accommodate each other’s differences to work together on a global scale. For this reason, we do not loosely focus on the term “world-class”: Instead, we recognize that it is rather important that we each ought to have a particular regional area and gain a practical skill while maintaining a global perspective. This is what we consider when we speak about a locally optimized global human resource. The ASIP program aims to encourage students to work as global leaders within organizations that are active in the world’s emerging nations.
